This new set of patterns was designed for a new yarn by Malabrigo: Torzal. It’s a soft, superwash Merino yarn that blends multiple shades throughout, creating a 2-ply that is reminiscent of handspun. It’s a perfect yarn for a textured fabric.
Iridaceae Scarf is a light weight scarf has a rich texture that will keep you engaged as you watch the beautiful colors of Torzal shine through. The pattern includes written instructions and uses two skeins each of Medusa and Wabi Sabi.
The Iridaceae Hat can be worn with brim folded as a beanie or unfolded for a more relaxed fit. The rich texture shows off the beautiful colors of Torzal, and it’s perfect for the in-between seasons. This pattern is suitable for the knitter with experience reading a chart and uses one skein each of Medusa and Wabi Sabi.
The hat measures 18 inches around unstretched, and is shown on a 22 inch head.
And, finally, the Iridaceae Mitts are the perfect accessory for the in-between seasons. They are designed to be worn with negative ease for a nimble fit. This pattern is suitable for the knitter with experience reading a chart and uses one skein each of Medusa and Wabi Sabi.
You can find the patterns for these in my Ravelry shop: Scarf, Hat, Mitts. And, on Etsy: Scarf, Hat, Mitts.
